1.NEIGHBOURHOOD CARE ORGANISER

Highgate Newtown Community Centre is London Borough of Camden’s largest Community Centre, occupying a 3-building site in the heart of Dartmouth Park’s conservation area. It includes a busy Children’s Centre, Youth Academy and Main Building, which are home to a range of support, sports, arts and recreational services offered to the local community.

We are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Care Scheme Organiser that can drive forward our scheme. Our scheme focuses on providing a befriending service to adults aged 60 plus, therefore an understanding of adult social care is essential.   In addition to this our scheme is under pinned by volunteers, therefore we are looking for an individual who understands volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition. The Neighbourhood Care Scheme Organiser is responsible to the Director and managers a large team of volunteers,

This is a permanent contract.

£23, 000 per annum

30 hours per week

30 days holiday pro rata

2.CHILDREN’S CENTRE CO-ORDINATOR

Highgate Newtown Community Centre is London Borough of Camden’s largest Community Centre, occupying a 3-building site in the heart of Dartmouth Park’s conservation area. It includes a busy Children’s Centre, Youth Academy and Main Building, which are home to a range of support, sports, arts and recreational services offered to the local community.

We are looking to recruit a Children Centre Organiser that can drive forward and develop our under 5’s services. The role involves managing a safe and stimulating playgroup, drop in and crèche for children aged 0- 5 years. In addition to this with parents to promote health and early learning, social, physical and emotional development of children is an essential part of the role. Experience and working knowledge of the Early Years Statutory Framework essential.

This is a fixed term contract – 1 year initially

£25, 000 pro rata

30 hours per week

30 days holiday pro rata

41 week, term tine only contract
